How quickly can Bob's Express pull a container off the port?
Most import pulls inside the Port of NY/NJ are scheduled inside one business day once the container is "available" in the terminal system. Tight last-free-day moves are scheduled same-day where the terminal appointment system allows. Call dispatch and you will get a real ETA.
Do you handle both Port Newark and Port Elizabeth?
Yes — both, plus PNCT, APM Terminals, and Maher Terminals. Bob's has been pulling out of the Port of NY/NJ for a century. Drivers are TWIC-credentialed; HAZMAT endorsement where required.
Are your drivers TWIC-credentialed and HAZMAT endorsed?
Yes. Every driver carrying containers in or out of the port carries a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC). HAZMAT-route drivers carry the HAZMAT endorsement on their CDL.
What's the difference between drayage, LTL, and FTL?
Drayage is the short-haul move of a shipping container between the marine terminal and a nearby warehouse or rail. LTL ("less-than-truckload") shares a trailer with other shippers — you pay for the space your freight uses. FTL ("full truckload") is a dedicated trailer, point-to-point.
